Coffee and Christian Concepts

MISSION

Building our faith by searching for God “off-road” in cosmology, quantum science, biology, archeology, history, near-death experiences, philosophy, the varied views of non-Christians including Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, the differing views of Christians, as well as other life-data not directly available in the pages of scripture. Our goal is to prepare ourselves as witnesses in a world that does not start with scripture, drawing from the opportunity God has given us to “discover Him” in all things.

TARGET

Those who are already familiar with scripture and who would like to be challenged by some heavy lifting of new ideas. Otherwise, all ages, male and female – just be curious and bring a cup of coffee!

FORMAT

More formal than casual, we meet in the St Andrew Room at Commpres on Tuesday mornings, 6:30 am – 7:30 am. Those joining can come in person or zoom in. The class is serious, focused, and moves fast. Each week there is a new presentation including topic video clips, research, custom explanations and diagrams. Consistent participation makes a difference as subject matter extends over multiple weeks.

TIME FRAME

This group meets on an ongoing basis with occasional breaks.
